How many people can say they spent the day working on David Beckham’s belly!
Well that’s excatly what I did yesterday and will be doing again today – I am truely honoured. Unfortunately David has no idea I’m doing it but what the heck!
Funniest thing is, I’m using a reference photo and the acrylic painting I’m doing on canvas has more space at the bottom than I have photo reference material – the hours of anguish working out what lies beneath that line!!!
Fortunately I found the same photo on-line and it goes a little deeper (if you know what I mean) and shows his torso and the top of his jeans – so now I know – I think I prefered the process of trying to guess!
I’ll post it when I’m done
I do have one portrait of David on my website but it’s just a head shot, far more innocent!
